Products
Main Switchboards (MSB)
Main Switchboards (MSBs) are a critical piece of infrastructure in all buildings. At GEM we can design and manufacture varying types of MSBs from Fully Custom made through to a Modular solution to fit your requirements. MSBs can vary significantly depending on the installation requirements and at GEM we are here to support you from a small standard MSB through to a complex, fully automated switchboard up to 6300A,
Distribution Boards (DB) & Tee Off Boxes (TOB)
Distribution boards (DBs) are an important component of an electrical power system which divides an electricity supply feed into separate circuits for different loads. At GEM we can design and manufacture DBs from Main Distribution Boards (MDBs) through to standard DBs by the hundreds.
Motor Control Centres (MCC) & PLC Control Panels
GEM design and manufacture MCCs and control panels for municipal governments and private enterprise in fixed though to fully withdrawable functionality. For MCCs these can include low level control with contactors through to high level control incorporating VSDs, Soft Starters and include remote and telemetry control. These can incorporate Control Panels or we can design and manufacture separate control panels for the larger IO requirements.
Grid Protection Unit (PVDB)
As the demand for Solar grows the importance of grid protection also grows. PVDBs are provided to protect the grid from the solar installation and combining the inverter supplies into the main electrical infrastructure. There are many in this industry providing cheap non compliant panels but at GEM we provide a properly engineered and compliant design for the larger commercial solar install. Ranging from 400A and with larger sites over 4000A.
Power Factor Correction Units and Active Harmonic Filters
With the changing nature of the electrical loads the criticality of having the correct power factor and filtering of harmonics couldn't be more important. GEM works with several key companies and can provide as part of your electrical package the correct system for your project that ties in with the other electrical infrastructure. From traditional capacitor PFCs, to the more modern active power PFCs and even combined PFC/AHF units we will work with you on the correct solution for your requirements.
Power Distribution Units
Designed and manufactured by our in-house expert team, our Power Distribution Units (PDUs) can be tailored to specific configurations to meet the most stringent requirements for delivering and monitoring power to critical systems in the data centre and industrial sectors.
